CLIENT JOURNEY

Our four-stage standard advice process

1. INITIAL MEETING

An initial consultation with an experienced and qualified financial adviser of up to 1 hour will be provided free of charge.


Following the initial consultation, it may be necessary for you to gather further information before we can conduct Stage 2.

2. ADVISE

We will carry out a financial review, provide advice and make recommendations to you in line with your requirements.


As part of this process we will:

  • Gather relevant information
  • Establish the investment risk you are willing and able to take (for investment/pension clients)
  • Recommend products suitable for your needs
  • Provide a clear explanation of any costs/charges involved
  • Explain why and how our recommendations are suitable to meet your needs
  • Prepare and issue a letter or report to you presenting our recommendations; and
  • Arrange a follow-up appointment or telephone call to answer any questions you might have

3. ARRANGE

If you instruct us to proceed with the purchase of a product, we will:


  • Arrange the purchase on your behalf
  • Handle all the associated documentation and administration
  • Deal with any queries you might have, or which are raised by the product provider and/or third parties
  • Ensure the final product documentation is prepared in accordance with your instructions; and
  • Keep you informed throughout the process

4. MONITOR

We will suggest a monitoring program, in the form of an ongoing service package, for any products recommended.


  • The main focus of any ongoing service package will be ensuring the continued suitability of any recommendations
  • We will provide a periodic assessment of the suitability of past recommendations every 6 or 12 months depending on the service package selected
  • As part of this process we will conduct a review of your overall financial affairs
  • This review will focus on how any changes in your financial circumstances may impact on any products recommended
  • Where the need for further advice is identified, either in this or any other area, we will inform you
